2. Data Collection

YT Grow Pro does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).

To provide its core functionality, the extension accesses the following data with your permission:

• YouTube Channel Statistics: We read publicly available or channel-specific stats (views, subscribers, video counts) to analyze performance.
• Video Titles and Data: We read video titles and descriptions to provide AI-powered suggestions.

3. Data Usage & Third-Party Services

The extension processes data locally in your browser. To provide AI suggestions, the extension sends non-personal data (such as channel stats and video titles) to the OpenRouter API.

• We do NOT send your personal information, emails, or passwords to OpenRouter or any other third party.
• You are required to provide your own OpenRouter API Key to use the AI features. This key is stored securely and locally in your browser's storage (`chrome.storage.local`) and is never shared with us.

4. Permissions Used

Our extension requires the following permissions to function:

• storage: To save your API key locally in your browser.
• activeTab: To interact with the current YouTube page you are viewing.
• identity: To authenticate with YouTube API for fetching your channel stats.
• host_permissions (YouTube & Google APIs): To fetch data directly from YouTube services.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
